THE VISION

One Dev. One Laptop. One Idea at a time.

Shabaka Malik Banks, founder and CEO of Bleek Vision

Growing up in NYC in the 80s and 90s, video games, Michael Jackson, and Japan shaped everything I thought was cool. My first real memory of gaming: Super Mario Bros. on my cousin's NES. I dragged my mom into the room to see it and begged her for one that Christmas. She came through. A love story began.

In 1995, Sony — a spurned former partner of Nintendo — dropped the PlayStation. A cousin had one. We played through a holiday break surviving on soda and snacks. The futuristic grey design, the CD media, the 3D graphics: mind-blowing. It wasn't just a new console. It confirmed that games weren't just a hobby — they were a lifestyle to be lived.

Bleek Vision LLC is the latest chapter of that original love story. AI is my newest partner in crime — vetting ideas, solving problems, helping me ship real products. I started Bleek Vision to join the ranks of those crazy enough to believe in themselves and build something worth keeping.
